Is it too early to talk winter coats? Probably. But this year one of my coveted closet pieces is a fabulous winter coat. I'm looking for something classic with a twist, neutral without being boring and oversized but tailored. Thankfully, there seem to be lots of great options this year and at varying price points. Check out the two options below.
Would you have any idea which coat costs more? Both of these are great options. The option on the left is by 10 Crosby Derek Lam and costs almost $700. Ouch. The coat on the right by Dolan rings up at about half as much- $359. I love that both of these pieces are menswear inspired with the tweed textile and have a bit of edge with the black leather trim. The length of both of them seems perfect too- covers the bum and hips without overpowering your frame.
Is a coat an investment you'll make this year? The last coat I bought was at H&M nine years ago for $50. Wow. Maybe it's time for a new one.
