Digital Era

Versace via

If you're like me, you tire quickly of patterns and end up with a closet full of solids. You'd think discovering ONE cutely patterned top should be a simple enough task but then you end up with designs you soon despise of or cuts that aren't right for your body just because the pattern happens to be decent.

If you're like me, then maybe all of your problems have recently been solved. Multiple designers have invoked the use of digital prints and I for one am adoring them. They're abstract enough to be edgy but bright enough to keep the look light and cheerful.

The custom print on the Rag & Bone dress above was created from a photo taken by designer Marcus Wainwright while on a tropical vacation. It makes for the most beautiful combination of colors and invokes that carefree sense of time spent on the island...

But these prints aren't just reserved for summertime. Check out the Fall 2011 looks below.

So if you're in the mood for something different this spring, check out the futuristic digital prints. How fitting that they'll remain current in your immediate future this fall!
