Who's ready for the weekend already?? Me me MEEEE! I've been looking forward to this weekend for year! Every February, my 12 oldest and dearest friends gather together for a girls' weekend. This year, we head to Lake Norman to spend a little q.t. together in a fabulous lake house. (Not the one pictured, sadly.) It's the one time we get together that involves no weddings, no babies, no hosting and no worries. And I can't wait! There's nothing like spending time with your old friends. Next year, one of us will have an almost one-year-old and I predict a few more babies will have been born or will be on the way. That makes this year extra special as our own families grow and we face the inevitable wonderful changes that life brings.
In another lake house's news, a sunroom renovation is underway as we speak! I took a few pieces to be reupholstered earlier this week (and might have score a vintage coat in the process). I can't wait to share with you the results when we get everything completed. There's lots more to do but baby steps are still a great start.
